Dr. Amrita Sinha obtained her BSc in Electrical Engineering in 1989 from Bihar College of Engineering (currently National Institute of Technology), Patna. She obtained her PH.D. in 2010 from Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University,Varanasi. She is currently working as Assistant Professor in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. Her main research interests include power system protection and artificial intelligence applications to power systems and machines.
