Dr. Shakti Singh is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Department, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. Dr. Shakti Singh holds a PhD degree in hybrid renewable energy sources from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. He is having a MTECH in Energy and Environment Management from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He has more than 15 years teaching experience and published several papers in national/international conference and journals of international repute. His areas of research interest include, hybrid renewable energy systems and integration of RES into existing grids.

Description of Research Interests

Shakti Singh 's research interests are in integration of renewable energy systems into current existing grid. The economic aspects of renewable energy systems in developing countries is main thrust of his research area. He is also interested in area of research in microgrid, smart grid and optimal power management in exiting system with integration of renewables.
