Biography

Dr Parimita Roy is working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematics (SOM), Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET), Patiala. She is also working as Postdoctoral researcher in Normandie University, UNIHAVRE, LMAH, Le Havre, France since February 2019. She received her Master’s degree in Mathematics and Scientific Computing (MSc) from MNNIT, Allahabad in 2011 and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Mathematics from IIT(ISM), Dhanbad in 2016. She also participated in 5th Heidelberg Laureate Forum, held from September 23 to 29, 2017 in Heidelberg, Germany. Only the 200 most qualified Young Researchers is given the opportunity to enrich and share the unique atmosphere of the Heidelberg Laureate Forum. She has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate mathematics courses at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala since 2016. She has published 12 SCI/SCIE research papers and has 1 ongoing (March 2018 – March 2021) SERB(DST) sponsored major research project. Dr Parimita has guided three Master’s student and is also guiding one PhD student currently.
