Research Interests

Preparation, characterization, surface morphology, optical, electrokinetic and photocatalytic properties of noble metals (Au, Ag, Fe, Cr, Cu Pt, Rh and Pd), bimetallic nanostructures and semiconductors (CdS, TiO2, ZnS, ZnO) nanoparticles of different shapes and sizes and their metal-semioconductor junctions. Core-shell nanostructure of photostable silica coated CdS/ZnS nanosphere and nanorods and effect of Ar laser irradiation on the physical properties of this nanostructures. Size and shape dependent thermal conductivity of metal oxide based nanofluids. Photocatalytic organic functional group transformations and metal oxide nanofluids.
