Biography

Sharad Saxena is Associate Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, Punjab, India. He did Ph. D. (CSE) 2012 and M. Tech. (CSE) in 2009. He is a member of societies like IEEE, CSI, IAENG and ACM. He is also serving as editor of some the journals and as reviewer. He has published 50 International Papers in the area of Ad-hoc and sensor networks in journal and conferences. He has guided 10 M. Tech. Dissertations and 4 Ph.D. are undergoing. His research interest includes Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things, Cloud computing and Ad-hoc network.

Description of Research Interests

Sharad Saxena’s research interest is wireless sensor networks and performed the research related to resource identification on internet of things, decision making in selecting a resource on IoT, propose a sensor topology for underwater monitoring etc.
