Dr. Sunil received her Ph. D. In experimental nuclear physics from University of Delhi, New Delhi in 2011. She worked as a post doctoral fellow for two years at Indiana University in collaboration with University of Notre dame, USA on designing of detection system for reaction of astrophysical interest using a recoil mass separator called St. George. Then she joined The Australian National University, Australia as a reserach fellow and worked on the reactions with weakly bound nuclei for more than 2 years. She has been working as assistant professor in School of Physics and Materials Science, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology since July 2016.
