Biography

Tarun Kumar Bera, PhD (IIT Kharagpur, India), ME (IIEST, Shibpur, India), BE (NIT Silchar, India) and is presently an Associate Professor at Mechanical Engineering Department of Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (Deemed to be University), Patiala. He worked as a production engineer at Greaves Ltd. (1996–1998) and as a faculty at BIET, India (2001–2008). He has done Post-Doctoral research at LAGIS, CNRS, Lille, France during 2011–12. He has published 30 International Journal papers and several conference papers. His research interests are system dynamics, robotics, vehicle dynamics, multi-body dynamics, modelling, simulation & control systems and machining dynamics.
