Biography

Dr. Vinod Kumar is Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Advanced Machining Methods from Thapar University, Patiala. He joined Mechanical Engineering Department, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala (India) in 2000 and is presently serving as Associate Professor in the Department. He has more than 60 research publications in reputed Journals and 30 research publications in international/ national Conferences. Under his supervision, 5 Ph.D theses have been awarded and 2 Ph.D. theses are on-going. He also has more than 55 Master’s theses to his credit. He has been Principal Investigator of research project funded by government agency.
