Biography

PhD from IIT Bombay in the area of fluid and thermal. During my PhD I had worked on development of advance numerical schemes (called as Nodal Integral Method) for fluid flow and heat transfer problems. Before joining Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology in 2015, have worked as faculty in School of Mechanical Engineering KIIT University Bhubaneswar.

Description of Research Interests

My research interests lie in the area of computational methods for fluid flow and heat transfer problems.. I am keenly interested in development of new and hybrid schemes for fluid flow and heat transfer problems.

My current research interest also includes the numerical investigations in biomechanics area. This includes computational investigation of hemodynamic for vascular system. The numerical investigations of hemodynamic environment in vascular geometries reconstructed from patient specific vascular morphologies plays a role in the detection, and treatment of arterial disease. Numerical Investigation of thermal environment in Hyperthermia for cancer treatment is another area of my research interest.
