Summary

To find the solution of Network problems like transportation problems, shortest path problems, maximal flow problems etc. the related parameters are represented as real numbers. However, in the literature, it is pointed out that it is more realistic to represent the parameters of these problems as fuzzy numbers instead of real numbers. Hence, different algorithms have been developed in the literature to solve these problems. After a deep study of the existing algorithms, it is observed that in the existing algorithms some mathematical incorrect assumptions have been considered. Therefore, the aim of this project was to develop new algorithms for solving these problems.
