Eligibility for M.A. (Economics) Programme

BA/B.Sc. in Economics/B.Com./B.Statistics/Bachelors in Business Administration - BBA/Bachelors in Business Studies- BBS/BE/B.Tech. with 50% (45% for SC/ST) at Bachelors level.

The program shall have following two specializations:

  • Money, Banking and Financial Markets
  • International Business

Eligibility for M.A. (Psychology) Programme

Recognized Bachelor degree in Psychology (Honors) or Arts/Science/Allied Sciences such as Home Sciences/ Nursing/Human Development/B.Tech of minimum 3-years duration with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate and Psychology as one of the subjects at graduation level. Candidates who have appeared in the examination of the final year shall also be eligible. However, for such candidates, admission shall be provisional.

The program shall have following two specializations:

  • Clinical Psychology
  • Counselling Psychology

Mode of Selection for All MA Programs: Admissions to MA programs shall be made by combining percentage of marks obtained at 12th and Graduation (aggregate marks upto end of second year/four semesters will be considered). Graduation must be done from a recognized .

Candidate must attach mark sheets of 12th and all the marks sheets of Graduation upto end of 2nd year along with the printout of applications.

Candidates having any pending backlog in the first two years of Graduation shall not be considered for admission. Percentage of marks secured at the end of 2nd year of graduation shall only be considered even if the candidate has completed the graduation.

5% additional marks will be added for the students having honors degree in Psychology/Economics.

Note: Candidates applying for more than one discipline of MA programme are required to fill single application form alongwith requisite application fee.
